I am running for governor because I love Connecticut and believe this state deserves nothing but the best from its leadership.
I was born here, raised here, and graduated from our public schools. After college, I chose to come back because there is nowhere else I wanted to build my life. My fiancée, Amy, and I are planning to raise our family here because we believe Connecticut is worth fighting for.
But we must be honest about where we are today. Connecticut has become too expensive. Families are paying some of the highest electricity bills in America. Property taxes feel like a second mortgage. Too many young people are leaving because they don’t believe they can afford to build a future here.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
I am running for governor because I want to make Connecticut affordable. My proposals will cut electricity bills by more than 20% and reduce income taxes by thousands for the average family. Government should make life easier for working families, not more expensive.
I also believe the best decisions are made closest to the people they affect. That’s why I have fought to restore local control and will continue to stand up for our towns and cities. Communities like ours know their own needs better than bureaucrats in Hartford. Whether it’s zoning, education, or local budgeting, I trust local leaders and local residents more than onesize- fits-all mandates from the state.

During my time in the State Senate, I’ve worked across the aisle to pass laws that reduce the cost of government, strengthen utility oversight, improve women’s health care access, and protect local decision-making. I’ve always believed that good ideas matter more than party labels and that real leadership means bringing people together to solve problems. |
Connecticut has incredible strengths: hardworking people, outstanding communities, and limitless potential. What’s holding us back isn’t our people, it’s the policies coming out of Hartford.
I’m running for governor because I believe we can do better. We can make Connecticut affordable again, protect local control, lower taxes, reduce energy costs, and create an economy where our children can afford to stay, work, and raise their own families here.
