Dear Friends and Neighbors:

I am pleased to announce two important endorsements of my campaign for re-election.

Connecticut Independent Party

The CT Independent Party's stated mission is to "represent people who think for themselves and wish to advance the welfare and well-being of Connecticut residents through common sense governance."

I am proud of my record of common-sense bipartisanship, while also holding firm to core Republican principles such as controlling government spending, low taxes, limited government, public safety, and local control. As a member of the super minority, being effective in Hartford requires reaching across the aisle. My record in my first term includes:

• Passed omnibus Special Education reform bill which passed both the House and Senate unanimously. Signed into law.
• Co-sponsored bill to create more transparency in legislative earmarks. Signed into law.
• Co-sponsored bill to create cause of action for victims of AI fakes. Signed into law.
• Co-sponsored a bill to provide education mandate relief to CT's towns. Signed into law.
• Co-sponsored two environmental bills - modernizing pesticide reporting requirements and strengthening protection for riparian areas. Both signed into law.

I will continue to reach across the aisle and strive for common sense problem solving.

National Federation of Independent Businesses CT

I was honored to receive the endorsement of the NFIB, the state's leading advocacy organization for small and independent businesses.

I am proud of my consistent pro-business record:

• Co-sponsored a bill to cap professional licensing fees at $100
• Authored a bill to lower annual report filing fees from $80 to $20
• Co-sponsored a bill requiring CT state agencies to pay non-profit providers for services rendered within 45 days of invoicing, to prevent nonpayment. Signed into law.
• Co-sponsored a bill to streamline the approval process for health care facilities by revising Certificate of Need and related procedures. Passed House.
• Opposed onerous labor bills, including those adding significant burdens to contractors
• Authored a bill to allow business to pool together and create private self-insurance health plans and achieve scale
• Supported bill which reimbursed CT bottle distributors, using state bottle revenue collected, to offset losses due to CT's flawed bottle bill
• I am one of the Legislature's most vocal opponents of excessive government spending and tax increases which hamper businesses
• Embarked on a tour of 50 small businesses in the district in 2024 and am currently touring large businesses

A business-friendly CT means a more vibrant state economy and greater opportunity for all. A rising tide lifts all boats.
