Dr. Michael Goldstein Nominated for Congress by CTGOP

15 May, 2026

Dr. Michael Goldstein issued the following statement after winning the Republican nomination at the 2026 Republican 4th Congressional District Convention held at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut:

“I am deeply grateful to the delegates, supporters, volunteers, and friends who helped make this possible. This nomination is the result of hard work, perseverance, and a shared belief that Connecticut residents deserve stronger representation in Washington.

I also want to acknowledge Daniel Miressi and Luz Bueno for stepping forward and offering themselves for public service. Running for office is never easy, and I appreciate their commitment to our communities and our state.

Now is the time for unity. Republicans must come together at every level if we are going to win in November. Connecticut residents are facing real challenges, and they deserve a fighter in Congress who will stand up for them.

Our campaign is grateful for the growing support we have received from leaders, organizations, and grassroots supporters across Connecticut, including the recent endorsement from LUCA — Latinos United for Conservative Action.

Our campaign is committed to listening, showing up, and earning support from communities across the 4th Congressional District, including Hispanic voters who make up a significant part of the district. Many voters are looking for leadership focused on affordability, education, public safety, small business, and opportunity, and we are committed to making sure that message is heard respectfully and consistently.

This campaign has always been about taking our message to the streets and meeting voters where they are. We will continue that effort across the 4th District — listening, showing up, and building the coalition needed to win in November.

I look forward to uniting our party, fighting for Connecticut residents, and taking the concerns of the 4th District directly to Washington.”
