FROM TINA COURPAS · 149TH DISTRICT

Re-elected State Rep. Tina Courpas thanks her volunteers, her running mates and the voters of the 149th District.

Thank you for re-electing me to represent our community in Hartford. It has been the privilege of my professional life to serve the 149th District, and I recommit to you that I will do my best to live up to your trust.

Thank you to my campaign volunteers. From tried-and-true campaigners to interns to friends who got “drafted,” your extraordinary talents brought us over the finish line. Thank you to my children, whose kitchen table and garage became campaign HQ, for your love and support.

Thank you to the RTCs of Greenwich and Stamford and to my running mates. Joe Kelly, Mike Mason and Jonathan Goldstein, you are true public servants, and our town is better because you are a part of it. To everyone who was elected on Tuesday, regardless of party: I wish you a successful term and hope that you will accomplish much to move CT forward.

Finally, thank you to the voters of the 149th. You are smart, curious, engaged and “all-in” to make Connecticut the best it can be. Because of you, I know politics doesn’t have to be a race to the bottom. It can be substantive, collaborative and full of good will.

Here’s to all the great things we will achieve together in the coming term.
