Why I Am Running For Senate

I’m confident I have the right qualities to make a positive impact in our State Senate. Proven Local Leadership: I served on the Greenwich Board of Education for 4 years; 1 year as Chair. During my tenure, I guided 15 schools through the challenges posed by COVID-19 and facilitated collaboration among the eight-member board in navigating the crisis. I’m proud of the great things our board accomplished together, which reflects my commitment to effective political outreach.

Representative Town Meeting (RTM), 2 Years: I was elected to the RTM and appointed as district Chair, spearheading our district’s efforts to overcome past differences and work collaboratively on the most pressing issues facing our town. This experience has shaped my vision.

Board of Estimate and Taxation (BET): Elected to the BET and appointed to the Budget Committee, I contributed to the improvement of the BET’s collective performance. I'm proud to be part of a team that achieved unanimous passage of our most recent budget, with a vote of 12-0, demonstrating the effectiveness of teamwork that I will continue to advocate for in the Senate.

Ready to Deliver Results in the State Senate: I am committed to bringing the same collaborative, solutions-oriented leadership to Hartford as a member of the Senate. I am prepared to find compromise when necessary, ensuring that the interests of Greenwich, New Canaan, and North Stamford are represented effectively, reflecting my dedication to political outreach in a collegial manner.

Experienced Business Leadership/Operational Leadership: As the CEO and owner of Uranium Markets, a commodities brokerage firm, I have led the company for the past 20 years. As the President and Owner of several real estate development companies, including Forestland Development, KBJ LLC, and Midwood Estates, I have demonstrated extensive expertise in the industry. I have held senior management positions in several financial institutions across major cities like New York, London, and Tokyo.

I am driven by a commitment to apply a pragmatic approach to government, prioritizing results, respecting taxpayers, and making decisions based on empirical evidence. My political outreach aims to engage the community effectively as I seek a seat in the Senate. Connecticut Needs Legislators who will emphasize the importance of maintaining fiscal discipline to prevent tax increases.

As part of my campaign, I will defend local control of zoning regulations. Through political outreach, I will advocate for much-needed transparency, efficacy, and results-oriented outcomes in state government. I have a strong voice and am eager to use it to represent the 36th State Senate district as Senator. The challenges ahead are substantial, and I am confident that I am the most qualified individual to address them.

I am proud of my accomplishments in public service and am committed to political outreach in our community. I am eager to address local zoning regulations and implement tax incentives aimed at attracting businesses to Connecticut. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow legislators to persuade the Senate to understand these issues from a conservative viewpoint.
