With the BET primary behind us, our slate is set and the wind is at our backs!

Two teams of passionate Republican candidates battled it out for the six Board of Estimate & Taxation spots on the Republican ticket. When the dust had settled, a clear winner had emerged: the "Better BET" slate.

In an op-ed, victorious candidates Sally Bednar, Josh Brown, Harry Fisher, Joe Kelly, Joe Pellegrino, and Leslie Tarkington promised:

Our team will vigorously work to win support from all voters for our unified ticket in the November 4th general election. We will participate in debate, articulate our strong finance and accounting experience, and make ourselves available to you and all registered voters in the Town.

We believe these candidates, known for their wisdom, collaborative spirit, and love of Greenwich, have a solid shot at holding onto control of the BET for the Republican Party.

They pledged:

We commit ourselves to earning your continuing support and our fellow citizens in November’s general election. We commit ourselves to continuing the prudent and positive leadership Republicans have shown for over a century. We will keep Greenwich a premier community.
