The Peaceful Revolt Against Tyranny at the Ballot Box

The Peaceful Revolt Against Tyranny at the Ballot Box

27 September, 2024

This year’s Federal and State elections are crucial to the future of our Country and Connecticut.

For many years politics has been a spectator sport for many Republicans. We have our wins and we have our losses. Yet life goes on and bad things don’t happen.

This year is different. Our country and our state is at a crossroads and for some things we are at the point of no return if we do not change course.

Under Biden, Harris and Himes the last three and one half years have been a disaster. They created an artificial energy crisis that doubled and sometimes tripled our gasoline and heating oil prices. Natural gas is way up and Federal Laws prevent us from increasing our supply of inexpensive and plentiful
domestic natural gas.

Inflation is the worst in decades. Together the high gas and oil prices combined with inflation has made life unaffordable for many Connecticut residents. Despite these economic burdens Connecticut through the public benefit fund of our electric bills is making matters even worse. The Democrats will not schedule a special session of the legislature to deal with this issue. This is the arrogance and indifference that the Democrats have toward the citizens of Connecticut.

Our border has been open season for up to 20 million migrants, including criminals, terrorists, drug dealers, slave traders (child and sex traffickers) and economic migrants who are being subsidized to a cost of 5% of the state budget plus local education and other expenses. The are the major cause of
violent crime.

Our schools have turned into indoctrination centers.

Our society has been polarized by hateful antisemitism. Hiring is being based on Diversity Equity and Inclusion criteria rather than merit.

Local control of housing is being taken away by the state through 8 30G and Transit Oriented Development.

Our water company is on the verge of being sold to an agency that does not have to pay real estate tax and is not subjected to regulatory oversight.

Our towns will be irreversibly changed and will never be the same unless we stop it.

Our predecessors fought a Revolutionary war where they risked, their lives and fortunes to overturn an oppressive government. Many generations of soldiers have fought in wars to preserve our democratic way of life.

We do not have to risk our lives or fortunes to fight the oppression and socialist changes that Harris and Himes want to impose upon us nor the destructive changes that Hartford wants to impose on our town.

What is required of us is so much less. There are three things that all Republicans should do to save our country and our state.

  1. Volunteer your time to help a Congressional or State Campaign or both.
  2. For my campaign and Todd Laudonia’s which are not funded by the state we need donations,
  3. Go to the polls and vote

I am asking all of you to take these three steps to preserve our democracy

Thanks,
