Why I Am Running
![]() |
"I am running for State Representative because I believe Connecticut can do better... I have spent my career working on real-world problems that require practical solutions, accountability, and leadership" |
For too long, too many people have watched the cost of living rise, energy bills increase, housing become less attainable, and confidence in government continue to decline. Families work harder, yet feel like they are falling further behind. Young people increasingly question whether they can build their future here. Small businesses face growing challenges. Property taxpayers continue to carry heavier burdens.
I am running because I believe these problems are solvable. As an attorney, construction professional, business advisor, and lifelong advocate for our community, I have spent my career working on real-world problems that require practical solutions, accountability, and leadership. I have seen firsthand how government decisions affect homeowners, businesses, families, and local communities. Too often, policies are written by people far removed from the consequences of those decisions.
Connecticut needs leaders who understand how regulations, taxes, energy policy, housing policy, and economic development affect everyday people.

“The 150th District deserves a strong voice in Hartford—someone willing to ask difficult questions, challenge the status quo, and advocate relentlessly for the people who live here.” Jonathan Goldstein |
I believe government should work for the people who pay for it.
In Hartford, I will fight for fiscal responsibility, greater transparency, and policies that encourage economic growth instead of driving residents and businesses away. I will support efforts to lower energy costs, protect local communities from one-size-fits-all mandates, strengthen public safety, and ensure taxpayers receive value for every dollar spent.
I also believe strongly in local representation. The people of Greenwich deserve a representative who is accessible, responsive, and willing to challenge both parties when necessary. My loyalty is not to political insiders or special interests. My loyalty is to the residents of the 150th District.
This campaign is about more than politics. It is about preserving the opportunities that made Connecticut a place where families could build successful lives, own homes, start businesses, and invest in their communities.
The 150th District deserves a strong voice in Hartford—someone willing to ask difficult questions, challenge the status quo, and advocate relentlessly for the people who live here.
I am running because I care deeply about our community, our state, and our future.
Most importantly, I am running because I believe Connecticut’s best days can still be ahead of us—but only if we are willing to fight for them.
I ask for your support, your ideas, and your vote.
Together, we can help move Connecticut forward.
