In April 2022, the Town’s finance board, the BET, unanimously approved $70 million to rebuild Central Middle School (CMS). Unfortunately, the project is facing delays and cost overruns. There has been misinformation from vested interests that the Republican BET members are not supporting this project and causing delays - nothing could be further from the truth.
